Why this matters:

The kicker attachment point is one of the most critical load-bearing areas on the ILCA rig. Historically, sailors have faced fatigue and cracking issues with the traditional pressed fittings. Seldén has now redefined the standard with a precision-cast stainless steel bracket, developed using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to reinforce high-stress zones and eliminate weak points.

Now fully approved by ILCA, this new Hi-Load bracket is standard on all Seldén aluminium and carbon ILCA spars.
