I use this for trapeze take-up, and it lasts much longer than normal shockcord due to the abrasion resistance, so the outer doesn't wear out anymore. This shockcord is very strong, so consider putting a fuse in place if you think it might get caught around things and you want it to break rather than whatever it is attached to. I attach this shockcord to my trapeze ring using a small piece of ordinary shockcord, so that it breaks first, if it gets caught on another boat or obstruction.

Great if you need it not to break like on a trapeze elastic but just be aware it is a bit less springy than normal shockcord. Delivery and service first class as usual.

Not cheap but wears really well and keeps an even stretch

Always need to use this stuff; worth the extra cost, especially when compared to other eventual 'throw-away' materials.

Drop a size compared to conventional and it'll still be considerably better in pulling-power (as well as running more smoothly around blocks because of its smaller diameter).
