Description
Our ‘hottest’ base layer in the range, these thermal leggings use a combination of two of our most popular fabrics for the utmost comfort and thermal performance. The main ‘heat’ boosting properties derive from its 0.5mm titanium lined neoprene used at the upper front legs, seat and back of legs. This fabric is a clever material that works with your body to regulate your temperature, where the titanium lining reflects heat from your body back onto your body, rather than letting it escape through the fabric. Through combining this ‘Hot’ fabric with our soft and stretchy Polypro™ on panels where you want the maximum movement and breathability, gusset and waistband, these leggings will give unrestricted performance.
Wear them next to your skin for the best performance. A great heat boost for underneath your other layers on colder days or on its' own for very active sports.

Had these under a wetsuit when boat handling for beach sprints rowing. In and out the water for 5+ hours and these made such a huge difference to staying warm throughout the day.
In summer, coukd definitely get away with just these. Snug, warm, and great fit.
Havent tried it, but think they would be great for coastal rowing in Jan-Feb when you need a bit more protection from the elements.

I’ve used these for a few months now. There are a lot of positives, they’re a great fit, flexible, extremely comfortable and the high quality you’d expect from Rooster. The main downside for me is if I wear them for paddle race training, (high intensity activity), they’re great whilst I wear them, but not very breathable so sweat builds up inside and I get cold very very quickly as soon as I stop training. They’re great for low effort, low intensity but not for training.

Layering: Wearing a thinner lightweight wicking base layer underneath our gear can enhance breathability and moisture management, helping regulate your body temperature more effectively during intense workouts.
Post-Training Care: Changing out of your gear promptly after training or ensuring proper ventilation and airflow during cooldown periods can also help minimize the risk of feeling cold quickly after exercise.

Very warm when exercising- possibly too warm if you were going to be doing continuous hard exercise (like a distance rowing race).
Very good when not active continuously. Also dried out pretty quickly- even in a damp camper van, were ok to wear on consecutive days.
Am definitely a convert, they'll be getting regular use particularly when coaching in the winter months.
