The ILCA Harken vang base unit is a clever design meaning that it centralises the cleat.

Please note that the Base Unit does not comes with ropes or the extra blocks for rigging.

Class legal ILCA or Laser vang/kicker metal base unit made by Harken as part of the XD upgrade launched a number of years ago.

This kicker unit is the most popular on the market and is used by top sailors across the World. This set up can provide a 15:1 purchase system which makes adjusting your kicker nice and easy, even on the breezier days.

This metal base unit contains a number of pulleys, a fairlead and a swivelling cleat to make adjusting your ILCA kicker very easy.

This base unit attaches to your ILCA lower mast with a pin and ring or the optional Rooster Quick release pin as seen HERE.
