Sailing Solutions Mast Webbing Kit
New Super Strong Pure Dynema® Lower Mast Webbing - with rivet, P clip and secondary backup 3mm pure dyneema for a back up. This kit includes the rivet for the loop and a rivet so you can replace the mast stop ring rivet which you have to take off to fit this lower mast webbing kit, as this is the best way to slide on the loop with its ring already sewn in.
If you don't have the webbing currently we suggest you don't change over to the webbing for structural and class rules reasons and stick with using the metal strap (L15) mounted with a single rivet both sides of the mast. If yours has pulled out and the rivets are no longer holding it is perhaps time to use oversized rivets. This is a tricky job as you also have to drill through your stainless metal strap.
To clarify our high strength webbing and ring is class legal to use if your mast originally had webbing or you have a mast that the original fixing for the kicker and downhaul was a deck eye mounted vertically on the mast. This kit comes with its ring.
