Drop nose pins have been around for a while, but never ones that are designed specifically for the diameters and sizes of the Laser® Harken Kicker unit.
The overhaul length of the pin is 23mm and the shaft length (bearing surface part) is 16mm. (4.65 mm dia. shaft)
This top pin enables you to quickly take off your Cunningham Line, which allows you to de-rig and take your sail off with ease, even when your fingers are cold or tired.

Please ensure that the drop nose pin 'T' end of the drop nose pin is on the opposite side to the cunningham downhaul, so there is no possibility of the rope catching on the drop nose 'T' pin end.

    Great for cold wet hands.

    This is a really simple easy to use pin. The old split ring pin on the standard Laser kicker was awful to unfasten with cold wet hands, but this is a breeze! Not using this exactly as intended (for the Harken kicker) but rather as the main attachment on an older Laser XD, and it works a treat!

    Bought one of these a few weeks back and it is a great help when rigging the boat with cold hands, however yesterday after lifting the rig out of the boat I found that the pin had dropped out leaving the kicker lying on the beach, it must have been caught by a control line when derigging. I lost the pin and have just ordered another one. Would be 5 stars if spring loaded so this could not happen.
