The rooster carbon tiller extension has followed me throughout my dinghy life. Since first discovered in my laser radial I have used it on a b14, rs800/700 and 49er. I have always opted for the plus sized diameter as for me it is re assuring with trap boats having something to hold on to and where it is a little heavier it tends to stay where you put it rather then bouncing around which is very important when gybing the 700 for me. I have only ever broken one, this happened when I missed the hook and did the classic thing of holding on and bent it round the rack (carbon doesn't bend apparently). The grip runs the whole way along the extension which is ideal and hard to find on other options in the market. Superficial but it also looks sexy...
