Description

Replacement part, this item is of highest quality.

Replacement parts are high quality replacements that perform the same function as the original part. They should not be confused with official parts bearing the Laser® registered trademark. They cannot be used if you are sailing at an Association event. However, they are perfect for social sailing, sailing schools, club sailing or training. Generally, there is a significant cost saving when purchasing replacement parts.

Laser® is a registered trademark owned by Velum Limited and currently licensed for use in Europe to Laser Performance (Europe) Limited. Rooster Sailing Limited is fully independent of both Laser Performance (Europe) Limited and Velum Limited.

Bought this after my old one fell off (Was using a thread system on the original). This replica stop set uses grooves instead of threads. It is much harder to put on but takes the risk of it falling off away. The first day I used it in about 15 knots I gave the centreboard a shove downwards (I'm not that strong) and the stop snapped right in the middle when it hit the deck. Pretty disappointing for a piece of plastic costing £4 that rooster claim is excellent quality, and is something supposed to withstand shock because of its purpose
